While traveling , Dr. Z’s wife ran out of memory on her iPhone. With some detective work Dr. Z came to the root of the issue.
If you configure your iPhone or iPad to use iCloud for your photos, then your device saves every photo to 2 places-one to the Camera Roll and the other to My Photo Stream. we usually select pictures from the Camera Roll to send pictures and ignore whatever is in My Photo Stream.
My Photo Stream automatically uploads photos to iCloud if you have configured it to do so.
If you have uploaded photos to iCloud, you should feel free to delete photos from My Photo Stream. it will not delete photos from the Camera Roll.
The more pictures you take, the more memory it reduces on your iPhone.iPad. Memory is not flexible–it has a limit so check memory by using Settings—>Usage and you will see what’s available. So that means you need to delete your photos after you upload them to iCloud, Google + or Dropbox.
So easy so simple!
